- Bust: Situation where your score exceeds 21 points.

- Tie: When the dealer and player tie.

- Blackjack/Natural Hand: When a hand starts with an Ace and a 10 value card, generating an automatic win.
- Box: Area for placing bets on games or blackjack rooms.
- Card Count: Strategy that aims to predict the cards with the highest probability of appearing.
- Split: Two of the same cards can be split, each generating a new hand and a new bet. Thus, the bets are doubled and the cards are counted separately.
- Doubling Down: when the player doubles the initial bet, after receiving the first two cards, receiving another one.
- Chips: Represent in-game money.
- Hit/Request Card: The player draws a third card.
- Hole Card: Dealer’s card face down.
- Hard hand: a hand without an ace or whose ace is worth 1.
- Soft Hand: Hand whose Ace is worth 11.
- Insurance: When the dealer’s up card is an Ace, insurance can be purchased. If the dealer makes a blackjack, the player refunds half of their bet.
- Stand: When the player is satisfied with the hand.
